Welcome to “Meinong Hostel” (aka Your Home in Meinong).
Meinong is a relaxing beautiful place nestled near the mountains NE of Kaohsiung.
We are located near the Yellow butterfly Valley. This area is populated by mostly Hakka and Quang-Lin farmers. It has its own cultural appeal due to the 'flat' noodles and lovely hand painted umbrellas. It's a perfect area for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
Enjoy the fresh mountain air right on the balcony, accompanied by the gentle singing of the many different types of birds that populate the area, or experience a light hike or bike ride while the sun begins to set.
We provide simple and clean beds but no TV to try enhance your experience of being away from the city, the noise and the buzz of technology. In modern times it's rare to get a chance to unplug from it all.
All are welcome. We hope you come to enjoy a relaxing time in the countryside.

We would like to introduce the beauty of Meinong/Taiwan to the world. Meinong offers a unique experience in that it offers both Taiwanese and Hakka culture.

Our Rooms
We have one en suite room which can sleep 2 persons (or a small family with young children), and one room with a bathroom outside which can sleep 2 persons. As well as a dormitary which has 4 comfortable bunk style beds.

Prices
The prices for our rooms are: (2-4 persons)
Ensuite room:
Sunday to Fridays NT$ 2000.
Saturdays and holidays NT$ 2400.
During Chinese New Year NT$ 3200.
House sharing Room:
Sunday to Fridays NT$ 1500.
Saturdays and holidays NT$ 1800.
During Chinese New Year NT$ 2600.
Dorm Room:
Sunday to Fridays NT$ 600. per person per night.
Saturdays and holidays NT$ 750. per person per night.
During Chinese New Year NT$ 1000.
